Historical Data: Mostys'kyj Deanery. The masonry church was built in 1903, replacing an older wooden church of the same name, which had been built in 1768. Nothing remains of the building which was destroyed after World War II.

Historical Data: Kulykivs'kyj Deanery. The wooden church was built in 1748 and was renovated in 1779 and again in 1929.

BABYNA (Babina), povit Sambir

ST. JOHN THE THEOLOGIAN

Historical Data: Sambirs'kyj Deanery. The masonry church was built in 1897, replacing an older wooden church of the same name, which existed at least as early as 1816, when it was visited by Bishop Levyc'kyj.

Pynjany - Sts. Cosmas and Damian         2 km. from Babyna. The wooden church existed already in [1830]. Pynjany was a filial church of Babyna until [1930], then became an independent assistantship.
In 1785 there were 5.04 sq km. , 280 Ukrainian Catholics, 50 Latin rite Catholics and 6 Jews.

Historical Data: Mostys'kyj Deanery, then Medyc'kyj Deanery after World War I. The masonry church was built in 1907, replacing an older wooden church of the same name which had been built in 1610.

Historical Data: Balyhorods'kyj Deanery. The masonry church was built in 1829 and was renovated in 1928. It has been used as a warehouse since 1949 and is in a deteriorated condition.³⁵

Stezhnycja - St. Nicholas         1.5 km from Balyhorod. The church, built in 1824 and renovated in 1930, is now destroyed. There were also a parish house and "Prosvita" in [1926], both of which are also destroyed. The pastor resided in Stezhnycja from c. 1925. In 1785 there were 16.02 sq. km., 296 Ukrainian Catholics, 95 Latin rite Catholics and 15 Jews.

NATIVITY OF THE BVM

Historical Data: Ustric'kyj Deanery. The wooden church, already several decades old, was rebuilt in 1880, with fresh materials. It was destroyed in 1945/46.

Stebnyk - St. Michael         Filial church of Bandriv until [1875], then became a filial church of Nanova. The last church, built in 1899, was destroyed after World War II.
In 1785 them were 23.47 sq. km., 432 Ukrainian Catholics, 43 Latin rite Catholics and 5 Jews.

BANYCJA (Bannica), povit Hrybiv

STS. COSMAS AND DAMIAN

Historical Data: Mushyns'kyj Deanery, then Hrybivs'kyj Deanery after World War I. At
first designated as a chapel, the church became a parish in 1887. The wooden church, with 3
banjas and a wooden bell tower, was built in 1797/8 and was renovated in 1922. At present it is
being used by Latin rite Catholics. A four room masonry rectory was built in 1897.

In 1589, the Bishop of Krakow donated land for the support of a Ukrainian Catholic priest, and in 1659, because the original document had been burned, the Bishop of Krakow confirmed the possession of the parish and all of the land, as well as that of the filial church in Chertyzhne to the pastor, o. Ivan.³⁶
In 1934 the parish was incorporated into the Administration of Lemkivshchyna.

ASCENSION OF OUR LORD

Historical Data: Sambirs'kyj Deanery. The wooden church was built in 1927, replacing an older wooden church of the same name which had been built in 1773.

Volja baranec'ka -Beheading of St John the Baptist         3 km from Baranchychi. The wooden church was built in 1807. In 1785 there were 7.72 sq. km., 191 Ukrainian Catholics, 81 Latin rite Catholics and 4 Jews.
