This CD represents traditional music from the villages of Jakubany (Rusňácy) (tracks 1-11) and Nova Lubovňa (Zamagurci) (tracks 21-30) in the Levoca Hills near Stara Lubovňa as performed by "Pasternoći a Zamiškovci" and "Porácan" from the Rusyn village of Porác in the Hnilec Hills near Spišská Nová Ves (tracks 12-20).
