St. Michael the Archangel

TURYNS'KE
The tserkva is of distinctive architecture, for it consists of five domes placed over a five room, old log style, structure. The tserkva is in the form of a cross, where the side arms are placed near the altar portion. Located in front of the tserkva, there is a three story bell tower, and a cross commemorating 950 years of Christianity in Ukraine. The tserkva was used by a parish of some 800 souls before being closed for more than 30 years. Now it has been restored and is used by the Orthodox parish.
